WHAT's Descartes Error

"the separation of mind & body"
giving you the tools you need
The body & the brain work together to provide us with the integration of data for what we both feel and think. Encompassed in a greater meta field our thoughts and feelings blend into a sense of knowing far more accurate than any decisions that could be made on pure thought, pure feeling, or pure guess this kinesthetic sense is to often dismissed in our world that values logic over emotions but unbalanced decisions are rarely good ones.
In 1994, Antonio Damasio, a neurologist that studied the connection between reason and emotion wrote, Descartes Error. He discussed what he viewed as Descartes error the separation of mind & body. Damasio proposed that consciousness isn't just a brain function but involves the entire body. He suggests that the brain works in tandem with other biological systems like the endocrine and immune systems, emphasizing a holistic view of consciousness. Damasio, Antonio R.
